FREE APP CHECK, MVP REVIEW

Free App Check: Is Your App Ready for Real Users?

Send us your app and our engineers run the production readiness checks we use on our own launches. You get a written report of what we found, in plain words, including the problems most teams do not know they have. It costs nothing, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

Built by an AI tool, a freelancer, or an agency you are no longer sure about? This check was made for exactly that moment.

The 10 production readiness checks

The check is a product and engineering review of your live app and, where you can share it, your codebase. The ten areas, the same ones from our production readiness checklist, are:

  • 1. Security basics. Authentication, password handling, exposed keys and the common holes AI generated and rushed code leaves open.
  • 2. Data safety. Backups, data handling and what happens to your users' information when something fails.
  • 3. Crash and error behaviour. What users see when the app fails, and whether you would even know.
  • 4. Performance under real use. Load times and behaviour on ordinary phones and ordinary connections, not the developer's machine.
  • 5. Scaling readiness. Whether the backend and database survive success, or fall over at your first good month.
  • 6. Store compliance. Privacy declarations, policies and the requirements that get apps rejected or removed.
  • 7. Payments correctness. Subscriptions, refunds and edge cases in the money flows.
  • 8. Analytics and visibility. Whether you can see what users actually do, or are flying blind.
  • 9. Codebase health. Structure, dependencies and whether another team could pick this app up, which decides your future options.
  • 10. Ownership and access. Whether the accounts, keys and code are really yours, in your name, under your control.

What you receive

  • A written report. Findings in plain words, ordered by how much each one can hurt you, not by how technical it sounds.
  • A verdict you can act on. Fix, fix and harden, or rebuild, with reasoning. If your app is healthy, the report says that too.
  • No sales trap. Two engineers spend two to three days on a proper check. If the report is genuinely useful and you want help fixing what it found, we can talk. If not, the report is yours to take anywhere.

How the free app check works

  1. 01

    Tell us about the app

Use the form below or email us. Store links and a few lines about where it hurts are enough to start.

  2. 02

    We run the checks

Product and engineering checks on the live app and codebase where shared, over two to three days.

  3. 03

    You get the written report

Findings, severity and a clear verdict, explained on a call if you want one.

  4. 04

    You decide what happens next

Fix it with us, fix it with your own team, or file it. The report is yours either way.

Frequently asked questions

Is the app check really free?

Yes. Two of our engineers spend two to three days on it and you receive a written report. We offer it because founders who see the quality of the check often come back when they are ready to fix or build. There is no obligation and no invoice hiding behind it.

What do you need from me?

Links to your app on the stores and a few lines about your concerns. Codebase access improves the engineering side of the check, and we are happy to work under an NDA.

Our app was built with an AI tool. Can you still check it?

Yes, and those apps need it most. AI built apps often look finished while the security, data and scaling foundations are missing. The check names exactly which foundations are missing in yours.

How long does the check take?

Two to three days of engineering time once we have access. We will confirm timing when you submit, because we run a limited number of checks each month so each one gets proper attention.

What happens after the report?

That is entirely your call. Some founders hire us to fix the findings, some take the report to their existing team, some use it to decide on a rebuild. We only continue the conversation if you ask.

Not sure where your app stands?

Start with a free app check. Two engineers look at your product and your code, and tell you honestly what is working, what is not, and what it would take to fix it. If the report is genuinely useful, all we ask for is a testimonial.
